BRSSD is still one of the very best places to educate our children. The high quality of our schools wouldn’t be possible without your contributions to our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and SchoolForce, the Belmont-Redwood Shores Public School Education Foundation.

This fall, all seven school PTAs in our district and SchoolForce have joined together to create the Education Commitment Campaign (ECC) so you can make one donation to cover virtually all of your child’s educational needs. It’s a huge step forward in simplifying the process to support our schools.

State funding is not enough to provide a quality education to our BRSSD students. We receive about $2,000/student below the state average, so we rely on parents, like yourself, to provide high caliber programs and close that gap.

Our goal for the Education Commitment Campaign is 100% participation from all families and we encourage you to donate at whatever level is possible for you. The suggested donation is $1,800 per student - the first $250 per student will go to Redwood Shores Elementary School's PTA and the balance will go to SchoolForce.

“Thank you for your contribution to the ECC. It provides the financial boost we need to offer a comprehensive program and educate the whole child.”
